Electrical Assembler - Tier I

Primary responsibilities of this position include having a good working knowledge of electrical standards and be able to wire control panels from schematics and have the ability to wire VDC/VAC circuits with limited supervision.
Essential Job Functions (Fundamental job duties):
- Ability to wire VDC/VAC circuits with limited supervision
- Ability to fully wire control panels from schematics with limited supervision
- Ability to work with project leads in order to complete work on time and under budget
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Participate in project/floor meetings and assist in maintaining the whiteboard issues list
- Ability to make labels on the Engraver Laser System with limited supervision
- Participate in, observe, and work closely with Tier II and Senior Assemblers on a field service call as required
- Learn and be able to perform assembly processes
- Perform other jobs in the plant as required by the supervisor
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Education (What is the minimum education level necessary to complete the essential functions of the position?)
- High School or equivalent
- Associates Degree with electronic major preferred
Experience (What is the minimum years’ experience necessary to complete the essential functions of the position?)
- Minimum two years experience in a manufacturing environment
Mandatory Qualification Requirements (What are the mandatory qualification requirements for the position?)
- Ability to read electrical prints and capability to interpret prints in order to perform necessary functions related the electrical assembly of automation equipment
- Physical attributes to perform job functions
- The ability to follow and give direction and work without supervision
